Mamizeit.com was created by Anne Monstad and Therese Moser-Rønning in 2007. Both being newcomers to Switzerland, they wanted to build up the expat information source they missed when first moving here — a place to share experiences on how Swiss daily life works and to help foreigners make the most of the time they spend here. We wish to inform and entertain with our articles.

Mamizeit is a web magazine with focus on international moms living in Switzerland for any length of time and with children of all ages. Any mother who moves with her family to Switzerland is likely to experience challenges of both cultural and social art. Mamizeit wants to increase expatriates’ understanding about Switzerland and all aspects of life here.
