MAMIZEIT

Mamizeit is a website primarily directed towards international mums living in Switzerland for any length of time and with children of all ages. Any mother who moves with her family to Switzerland is likely to experience challenges of both cultural and social art. Mamizeit wants in a small way to make this transition a little easier and more comfortable by providing information concerning family life in Switzerland such as "childcare" and "family activities". In addition to information on Switzerland, Mamizeit also wishes to bring You diverse articles and comments on life for Your reading enjoyment. The site will be updated on a monthly basis.

To reach as many of You as possible we write in English although this is not the mother tongue of most of our contributors.
We welcome Your criticism and praise, and please let us know what You would like to read about next month.

Anne Monstad – Mum to Ada and Esther and Editor of Mamizeit:
Came to Switzerland in 2005 with her Norwegian family.
Before Mamizeit she just finished her master degree in history.
Besides writing for Mamizeit, she is also a full time Hausfrau for
her two daughters and husband.

Therese Rønning Moser – Mum to Hedda and Ella and Editor of Mamizeit:
Moved from Norway to Switzerland in 2004 with her Swiss husband and two daughters.
Besides writing for Mamizeit she works as a web-programmer, teaches Norwegian
and maintains her “Hausfrau” skills.
