STORY TIME
LILLY VANILLA
Lilly Vanilla was all alone in her grass house, but she was happy because she
blossomed and she could smell her own magical perfume.
“
Mmm, I smell wonderful”, she said to herself and nodded her head graciously.
And her scent was so strong that soon, all the other flowers came to smell her.
When they did, magical dust came into their noses and they all fell asleep and
slept for two years. The two years passed and they all woke up and were so beautiful
and had such a nice scent that everybody had to smell everybody. They all loved
Lilly Vanilla in her beautiful purple pink dress.
One day, and it was in the year of Rose and Mousse, Lilly Vanilla got a very
good friend called Tulip Tango. Along came more friends, one after the other:
Bluebell Blue, Red Red Rose, and then there was a boy flower called Green Olive.
He was sometimes a bit naughty, but very kind to Lilly Vanilla. And she was kind
to Green Olive, who was really a gentle and friendly prince called Alex. All
the other flowers were unkind to Green Olive, except Tulip Tango, Bluebell Blue
and Red Red Rose. But one day, and it was the day called Marina, they were all
very kind to him. That day, the prince gave Lilly Vanilla a yellow, red and white
shawl.
One day that year, a big moss covered stone rolled down a hill and destroyed
Lilly Vanilla’s grass house.
“You can live in my house and we can be sisters for ever and ever and ever”,
said Red Red Rose.
“Can I come live with you too?” asked Tulip Tango.
“Yes, you can, and if you like you can live her for ever and ever and ever”,
said Red Red Rose and Lilly Vanilla.
All the other flowers wanted to live with them as well, but only one of them
could.
They all shouted “Lilly Vanilla Tango Tulip Red Red Rose - who can come
to your house, who will be the chosen one?” And it was Bluebell Blue.
One day, and it was the day called Morina, the flowers in the house decided to
throw a big ice cream party for all the other flowers. Green Olive was invited
as well. He lived in an old house which was all brown and brown was his favourite
colour, so he got a big chocolate ice cream. Red Red Rose had a raspberry ice
cream. Tulip Tango had a strawberry ice cream. Bluebell Blue had a blueberry
ice cream and Lilly Vanilla the most delicious vanilla ice cream in the whole
world. It turned out that Lilly Vanilla’s ice cream was a magical ice cream
and when she had eaten it, she turned into a princess in a white silk dress.
She married Prince Alex and they had chocolate and vanilla ice cream every day
for as long as they lived.
